About The Kasoag Lake Conservation Association

The Kasoag Lake Conservation Association Inc. began in 1957 as Kasoag Lake Park Association, later became The Kasoag Lake Association, and is now Kasoag Lake Conservation Association, Inc.  The organization is made up of members who pay annual dues.  Our purpose is to preserve, maintain and improve the lakes as a natural and recreational resource for all users, now and into the future.  We are sustained by members' dues and other donations and contributions.

Our concerted efforts to manage and restore the lake by reducing invasive weeds and muck has begun to pay off as evidenced by the return of native plants and the increase in the diversity of wildlife in and around the lake.  People are swimming in the lake again and there are more small boats skimming over the lake's surface.
