Kasoag Lake

Dear Members:

There was another wonderful event Sunday at Kasoag Lake. Our Annual George Henry Memorial Fishing Derby had more registrations this year than any previous years.

A special thank-you to Denise Hartmann for her time, organization, and sense of humor to pull this event together…again. Also, thank you to Denise’s Mom and Carol Reichel for cooking hot dogs. Thank you to Toni Norton, Penny Montgomery, Kathy & Phil Spinella, Tim Hartmann, Dave Blackburn, and all the families that donated prizes.

One of our member’s granddaughter said “this is my bestest day, ever”. I guess that says it all.

An anchor was found in second lake this weekend. If you’re missing this anchor we have it at our camp, please give Mark a call at 315-283-3476.

Our last association meeting is September 12, 2020, at the Kasoag Lake Tavern & Grill at 10:00 am.

The 2021 “Ice Out” volunteer will be introduced at the meeting and tickets for this fundraiser will be for sale.

Remember to bring your drawings for the new T-shirt contest for next season.

A reminder about our Annual Joan Longley Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 26, 2020, please contact Tom Neave or Andy Armstrong if your interest in playing. This should be a fun event.


I am asking for volunteers for a work party on September 20, 2020, at 9:00 am to try out our new winch. We will be clearing trees that have fallen in the lake. The time and place to meet will be announced at the meeting.
